Not all buttons are mapped due to X-Plane providing a high level of flexibility within the GUI for assigning buttons and switches. Only those that aren't exposed or required conditions for more precise operation are mapped.

Please note this document was originally created by the Aerosoft team and I have simply 'borrowed' it to keep the level of information about this profile consistent with their approach.

I've created a couple of different types of button overlays. The second version is a @Hilversum4 design, to make it one piece and a bit more sturdy.

Cant seem to get the HDG select button to work. All other work fine. Anyone else had issues?

@MICK777CPT,

You have found a bug, thanks for calling it out. I've fixed it and uploaded a new version. Managed to get the LED working as well even though it doesn't technically have one, by detecting when the aircraft is in HDG SEL mode.

Cheers,

WOW! Thanks for fixing, I’ll download and try it.

Is there a way of having the bottom row of buttons assigned differently?

On the real 777 the wing and engine anti ice are left in auto mode. So really don’t need to waste a switch selection on them.

Maybe assign, taxi, landing and turnoff lights, or strobe lights, to those 3 switch positions?

kind Regards

Mick
