MSFS Honeycomb Software 20/24

The software has stopped working on MSFS 2024 Sim Update 2 Beta, Support is aware. Solution is on its way.

Hello there, Thanks for the driver 2.1.2 for MSFS2024. The lights come at the moment you set power in your aircraft. I was frustated that the Cessna  autopilot functions leds didn't tell me in wich mode it was.

Maybe a bug : the anti ice warning stays on all the time. I don't find the reason why.

Edit: I find for the anti ice ! there is a relation with the pitot heat  switch off, in the cessna cockpit board panel.

WIN11 doesn't see the Yoke. Need a Driver? Any help is appreciated. Thank you

Where is the actual application that runs to run the LEDs? I had a system crash and the leds never came back online, going back to this installer just wanted to reinstall the same app, but there's no file I can see that I can just run when I want to start FS2020. I realise I'm missing something, but how can I create a shortcut to make sure this starts?

Need an option to change install paths. It currently installs everything on C://, however my MSFS2020 install is on a different drive. I attempted to move the files to my install location, but I still have no LEDs in FS2020. Any assistance would be appreciated. I also noticed the the Honeycomb Bridge Module does NOT start up on it's own when FS2020 is loaded. I have to manually start it, but even then I do not get LEDs

Doesn't ask for the Community-path. Because I changed the community path. There is no way to  install it. Is there any workaround?  A new release with the possibility to change the community-path would be nice

Throttle quadrant is connected, but doesn't light up.

Windows 11, MSFS2020 installed via Steam

There is currently a bug in the installer. Instead of adding a <Launch.Addon> section to the existing exe.xml file, it replaces the file with one of its own (that happens to be an invalid xml document as well). This has the effect of disabling any additional addons (like the RealSimGear add-on) that have already been installed. This is the exe.xml file the installer created:

So what do I do if I can't download this?

Hi, I'm also on win 11 and my lights stopped working after su2 Beta - the throttles and buttons still worked but no lights. 

 

I got my lights working by doing the below.

 

Download and install the AS_HONEYCOMB_MSFS2024_V212 file.

 

Run the AFC bridge before starting the sim

 

If you receive this error (which I did)

 

"honeycomb bravo failed to initialize simconnecttotheline"

 

Start the sim

 

Once in the sim run developer mode

 

Start a flight

 

Click the "tools" drop down menu and then select "Simconnect Inspector"

 

Then select AFC_bridge from the drop down.

 

After doing this my lights immediately turned back on and the autopilot buttons illuminate when selecting the different modes.

 

Not sure why this worked but it did for me.

 

Hope this helps anyone with missing lights.

I have bought the Honeywell Alpha and Bravo controllers and as well I fly with X-Plane 11... at the present time I am encountering a problem  when I start X-Plane, and get to the cockpit, there is a message that reads as follows " jsonfile c:\Users\George\Desktop\X-Plane 11\Resources\plugins\AFC_Bridge\win_x64\AFC_Yoke_Config.json" could not be opened.

The caption above this message reads: AFCBridgeIReloadjason". 

What can I do to resolve this message that tells me that something is not working with my Honeycomb equipment ? 

So, this worked the first time I installed the software. However, after quitting MSFS 2024 and restarting the sim later, the MSFS Honeycomb Software did not function. I've tried uninstalling and reinstallilng without success. 

 

Is there something I'm doing wrong? The sim is running when I run the AFC_Bridge. I have no other addons.

the I downloaded works great no problems what's so ever. 

Once I installed it, my bluetooth headphones / all audio out is blocked. This driver blocks bluetooth?

Are we ever going to get a fully featured profile editor like there is for P3D? It was promised back when MSFS 2020 was brand new...

The instructions we concise, download went smoothly and the results are as yet to be determined.

Excellent support, just wish it was referenced on the Honeycomb drivers download page. That page simply reads that a FS 2024 driver is coming soon.
