At this moment network communication is not possible from WebAssembly code (the binary code used by the simulator). The simulator is a closed environment where any communication to the outside can only be done via standardized interfaces (such as are now defined for the downloading of terrain or multiplayer). 

 

We do realize that network access is possible from projects done in HTML/JavaScript but for a complex add-on like this that simply is not a viable option.  We really need C++ coding.
