#430278 IRS-Alignment speedup?

Posted by simpo690 on 18 December 2012 - 22:57

Normally it will not effect you that much - as you enter your flight deck, it will be the first option you do, as in real world by the service crew the IRS alignment is already done, when the flight crew arrives. So normally it will be finished until u wanna go for pushback.

Yeah I find that my alignment time get's filled up with entering information into the MCDU, so I find 7 minutes to be perfect. :D

No call for retard ? What was the value of ure T/D ?

I didn't set up a route for this flight, only the approach as I done a circuit. "retard" was called out but for some reason, FS Recorder didn't record it. :(

I wouldn't pay any attention to release dates. The only people who will know are Aerosoft, and until they release it, everyone else can only guess. While we wait for release, lets enjoy winter over Manchester. ;)

#422620 New to Flight Sims? Read this to get some basic information about this fascin...

Posted by simpo690 on 23 November 2012 - 20:34

I would reccomend something like this.

1. Carenado C152 or 172
2. Carenado Beech King Air
3. An F-Lite aircraft such as the CLS BAE 146-200
4. Aerosoft Airbus X (origional version)
5. PMDG 737 NGX
6. Then onto the big birds like the PMDG 747-400!

I would like to know, since you stated on the first page that this model recommends 2GB of video ram, does it work better with that amount of memory? I am planning to upgrade to the GTX 650 Ti 1GB model and I was wondering if it made a difference in FPS or not.

That is probably normal RAM and not video card RAM. Only a few new video cards have 2gb of RAM I think. My current GTX460 has 1gb of RAM and runs airbus X fine, and the extended version is said to run even nicer than the origional.

Wow, the texture quality you are using is just stunning! Especially on those Skiathos previews and the Mykonos road in the car park. Such amazing detail!
