Oh! how I hear you on that mate... personal responsibility has seemingly been replaced by the personal demand for instant gratification, no matter the repetitiveness of the question.

You know the old expression "There is no such thing as a stupid question..." ?
T'was before the internet, that was.

Now mostly they are stupid questions.

As will yours now be deemed to be by the Holier-than-Thou Brigade who pontificate mightliy from on high about politeness and niceness, but never seem to stoop to actually answering the repetitive questions themselves.

Not even once, ironically...

Are you referring to the search box at the upper right hand corner of the page?

It is amazing just how much more can get done if we don't worry about who is to blame or who gets the credit.

Wow! You noticed...

That search tool works perfectly well for me and often gives links to other topics that relate to, but not directly answering, the question I seek guidance on. It's called `learning`, and it should be compulsory, unless we give out degrees for &*$^wits these days...

...oh wait, `Klingon studies`..? :confused_s:

Or we could have the forum equivalent of `pay per click`, with answers to repetitive questions only provided on payment of a small fee.

With that little change Mathijs and the team could enjoy sunny skies in the Seychelles all year round on their 1,200 tonne yacht, and I could buy a nice little pressurised twin to fly down and join them...
