hi everybody,

I've the AirbusX for about 3 weeks, I'v never had any problem until now.
When I start my airbus I can't type in my cdu this appears and I can't delete it.

(the 0. is the problem)

I've changed nothing, I ended my flight rebooted my pc and my airbusX did this

You say you ended your flight and rebooted your PC, did you not close down FSX before rebooting!

I saw something about re-install did you follow thise steps:

1) De-install the product using the windows control panel.
2) check the FSXMainFolder\SimObjects\Airplanes\ folder and delete any remaining folder that starts with Aerosoft Airbus
3) check the FSXMainFolder\modules folder and remove the GPSModule.dll as it normaly isent removed automatic.
4) check the 1 or 2 fsx.cfg for any text of airbus X under trusted and delt the hole line. open whit notepad or so

(How to locate the hiden folders whit fsx.cfg. Go search in the windows menu for RUN then it finds it. press it and type this %appdata% press enter . Then a folder opens go to the following location ->Microsoft ->FSX then you are there)

EXsample on how the lines seems:

Then as an exsample lets say that goflight (last line was named airbusX simply delt the hole line like this:

thats all then save and close the dockument. But there might be more then just 1 line for airbus X just delt all of them.

5) then open SimObjects in the same folder location and delt all the Airbus X folders left.
6) restart system
7) re-instal version 1.22
8) restart system
9) ready to start fs.

As i mean the gpsmodule could give that problem. 0. on the display as showed

Hi guys,

I have the exact same problem here!
I can't type anything in the FMC and it shows this 0. value by default.

I have tried the uninstall/install thing but no result ;(

Any ideas?

i had it too , long time ago , i think i solved it with removing the default flight plan. so no flight plan is shown .

euh load a cessna , save the flight as default try to clear your flight plan , save as default on startup.
restart your sim.
and when in your cessna try to clear your flight plan and load the airbus x.

if you see a pln file in fsx cfg folder or a nav html , look at that folder when you close fsx , normaly some files are only there when fsx running.
if no flight plan is there the gps dll from aerosoft has less problems .

I did a full uninstallation + deleted folders and everything associated to airbus-X, installed again and yet nothing.
Let me try deleting the flight plan.

I have literally tried everything to get the fmc to work. ( neither does my throttle either but i assumed it also had something to do with the fmc) I don't have a clue what you mean by <Launch.Addon> the way you supposedly helped the other fellow. I really love the aircraft and don't wanna know I just blew $40 pleasse help me in some way. Thanks Sterling

well throttle and MCDU problems has no conection i think if you mean it does nothing when you try use it. go to the post for throttles for that problem as not if you have FSUIPC and set it up that way, i cant say about lunch as i never used that tool... but to get back to the MCDU i dont realy know as whit the steps i gave above it worked for me every time and some others but i have noclue about where the problem is as i said in another topic if i try to edit 1 file it would result in that kind of problem. so seems like a wrong file or somewhere in the files that should run the dll file isent right. but again if i had you pc it would be easyer to find the cause

the lines are the ones that should be in the dll file in the same hidden folder as the FSX.CFG file as in that file it starts the GPS modul file and if those lines isent right or isent there the MCDU would not work and only show the magic 0.
