While I am continually amazed by Wolfgang's L-13 Blanik for FS9 (comparing it to the 13's I ACTUALLY fly), I would be REALLY Happy if I could replace the Airspeed Indicator with one reading in Knots instead of KPH...

Is there any easy way to do this? I DON'T want to redo all the other gauges; they are just fine as they are...

I can show you what you may need to do inside the panel.cfg file, but I'm not sure how the airspeed indicator works as far as replacing the existing one with one from another aircraft. You may not get the exact stall speed, max speed, etc. in the right place on the gauge if done this way, if it would even work.

I noticed Wolfgang has updated (Feb '08) some of his gliders to switch between US and Metric units, but I don't know off hand what setting within FS controls this. I'm not sure how busy he is, but it may not hurt to "drop him a line" and tell him you would sure love to see the Blanik to read in knots soon if he is going to update all of his gliders with this system.

Good Idea!

I just posted him about this, seeing as how the ver for the FS9 was unchanged... I have already posted him re my missing Yaw String, and am awaiting a reply...
