fsx hang when selecting ILS in FMS

I have been flying the Twinotter Extended to my joy, for quite some time, and wanted to go a step ahead.
Previously I did create a complete flight including SID and STAR/Approach in Fscommander or EFB and loaded that one. No issues at all.
Now I am building the trip without a sid and star, and fly the sid on hand, and select te autopilot on a good point inbound to the end sid-point.
When I arrive near the airport I click on the FMS on proc, and try to select approach. And the second I click on ILS, the complete sim hangs. All greyed.

Build the trip again, a second time with EFB same result.

I wonder what I am doing wrong here.

Greetings,

Hello Rob,

this sounds like an issue caused by the EFB rather than the Twin Otter Extended, could you try recreating this in another aircraft using the default GPS to see if the same happens there?

I can try that. An older but complete trip created with EFB and read into FSX, did not give the error, in the Twinotter, when I tried to load the ILS, as a test. Will try what you suggested.

Thanks,

I have tried it in a Caravan and 172. Default.
No issues.
I will try and create a  flightplan in FScommander, perhaps that is the key.

This is the flightplan.
