rjmck 3
Have installed Windows 10, and the Simcheck A300 works perfectly in all respects EXCEPT that one cannot enter any data into the FMC ... you can switch pages etc, but the entry keyboard does nothing.. hence impossible to enter a flight plan. Have tried running FSX in Windows 8 compatibility to no avail. Any suggestions?
Jude 190
Check if you have the Visual Studio runtimes vs2005 and vs2008 installed on your system. These libraries are usually needed for these type of functions.
rjmck 3
Problem solved! Windows 10 does not install all the fonts used in Windows 7/8 .... google for Win7 fonts, install, and all is good again!
tryanc 0
I am having this same problem in Windows 10. Could you elaborate a bit further about what Win 7 font you installed? I only can find options to install a specific Win 7 font. Not sure which one to look for.

rjmck 3
1. Windows 10 is missing several fonts that were in Windows 7 and Windows 8, and used by FSX add-ons. These need to be restored.2. Go to the following link and download the full set of Windows 7 fonts.https://docs.google.com/uc?id=0B3FIiMaPeHLOSUUxYV9BaTkxQjQ&export=download3. Unzip the fonts into a convenient folder, then select them all (ctrl-a); right click and “install”. You can either overwrite or skip the fonts already installed (your choice).4. The FMC will now display all its data and work normally. Other add-ons similarly affected will also function. To clarify the above solution:The fonts are installed into your C:\windows\fonts folder ... not into the fonts folder within FSX. If you need to add any into the FSX folder, just copy and install.
