Fuel resets after entering

Hello,

When I enter any amount of fuel that requires the center tank to be filled (above 12.4) and click INSTANT to load the fuel and payload, it will load the fuel for a second and immediately reset back to 19.1, the payload however loads normally. This is without touching anything else, engines off and EXT Power on.

I have tried this with a fuel load of 12.0 and it acts normally loading the fuel and payload as it should.

This is on the A319 CFM with the latest hotfix, on both P3D v2.5 and FSX. I have tried reinstalling the simconnect redist. for P3D to no avail. I do not use the in built fuel planner and instead get the payloads and fuels from Simbrief, which has served me well.

Active Sky Next, Google Chrome,vPilot and kACARS where running concurrently if that helps.

I have not tried replicating this on any other aircraft other than the A319 CFM.

Hello,

Thanks for replying. I have captured a gif of it in P3Dv2.5:

It has also started doing it with all fuel quantities:

These were captured with only P3D running, so I don't think it's one of my addons.

I have also tried loading through the fuel planner and (in desperation) through the default P3D fuel and payload screen, both of which give the same result.

Hello!

It seems to me that you are parked on a Refueling Parking Position. Try to move the aircraft to another gate and see if it still happens.

Hi, I have the Airbus Bundle (all four aircrafts). By the way, when I change the fuel quantity from the MCDU2 (pressing Loadsheet), the amount of fuel in the 'Aircraft /Fuel and Payload menu' of Prepar3d v2.5 remains the same, that is, it does not change and I need to do this manually. Do I really need to do this? What is the correct procedure using the Fuel Planner to load both (Airbus block fuel and Aircraft/Fuel and Payload)?

My question is because I also have the PMDG 737NGX and when I set the fuel amount into mcdu the amount of fuel in the 'Aircraft/Fuel and Payload menu' is also changed.

Hi Luis,

sorry but I cannot confirm your statement. There are two things to do:

  1. INIT LOADSHEET e. g. that the data / figures from the loadsheet (created with the Load- and Fuel Planner) are "imported" into the MCDU2 menu. Nothing else.......
  2. LOAD: This is a separate process e. g. to load those data into the plane. You can do this in real time by using the LSK 1-3R or immediately by using LOAD INSTANT (LSK4R). Only then the data in P3D are also changed...

I just tested the a. m. process and it works fine......

Regards,

Rolf

Thanks, Hanse. I will take your answer into consideration and forget the 'Aircraft/Fuel and Payload'. I checked the takeoff speeds from the real Airbus tables and I saw that the calculated values in the MCDU are as expected.

I was confused because if I even the amount of fuel in 'Aircraft / Fuel and Payload' with the inserted in MCDU2 (LOADSHEET), the takeoff speeds became different and I thought it was important to change it once the PMDG 737NGX do this. I'm still reading the vol6-StepbyStep tutorial.
