A320 FBW 2
Hi everyone, i tried bergamo x 1.02 on fsx and also on p3d 2.5 and i noticed this problem with runway lights. They all seem to be higher than the runway, not placed correctly. thank you for support, Mattia

HJMX 1
It is not fully compatible with p3dv2.5 as many sceneries I would like to have or already had purchased for FSX. Aerosoft seems to refuse providing a P3Dv2 compatibility list :-(
Deputy Sheriffs Tom A320 4915 Posted July 2, 2015 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted July 2, 2015 Aerosoft seems to refuse providing a P3Dv2 compatibility list :-( With every new P3D v2 release there are relevant changes which effect existing sceneries. When Bergamo was release P3D was on v2.1 or v2.2. Now it's on v2.5, with lots and lots of modifications in it. So you ask Aerosoft to retest all their 500+ add ons for every single P3D v2 release (v2.0, v2.1, v2.2, v2.3, v2.4, v2.5, ...) to be able to provide a detailed list per P3D version what works and what fails. Who is going to pay for that? It is well known among us simmers that old add ons that were released long before LM released even P3D (v1) might have problems in that new P3D v2.x environment. Aerosoft is doing their best to update the installers so that you would not need something like the Estonia Migration Tool. But that's all that can be done for old add ons which are long out of development. And by the way. this is of course also true for FSX:SE. With all the updates for FSX:SE in a short time many developers simply decided to stop any FSX:SE activity until the platform becomes more stable again. The times where there is just one simulator around that practically did not changed (because the manufacturer lost interest in maintaining it) are over. And we all, customers as developers, have to live with that. If we like it or not.

Many of them were at least partially compatible with P3Dv2, depending what version of P3Dv2 was active at that time. It is difficult to find them and which version it was designed for. I understand also that AS cannot test all their titles if they are compatible with current P3Dv2 version. But here you could involve us (potential) customers and provide a platform/forum where these compatibilty issues/updates could be discussed. I personally like it that P3D is continuously developed further. I personally have purchased some dozens of AS sceneries and aircrafts but stopped it since a while due to compatibilty reasons. I would be happy to continue ... Harry
