Deputy Sheriffs Hanse 216 Posted June 27, 2015 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted June 27, 2015 Hi, you have to follow SOP in such a case. When receiving the ATC request, first set your FCU ALT to your current FL e g. stop climbing. Then adjust your CRZ LVL on the MCDU INIT page accordingly. After doing so the DESC PREP CL will be availbale (= green) on the right MCDU. Start CL ,,,,,,,, Regards, Rolf
Capecod 0
Ok Hanse, For exemple if i am stable at FL350, ATC request descent to FL180 , i keep 35000 on the FCU and change the CZR LVL for FL180 in Left MCDU INIT ? or i put 18000 in the FCU then change the CZR LVL for FL180 in Left MCDU INIT ? What is SOP ? Ok i'am in my summer holidays right now but i will try when i came back Thank's for your reply Capecod

Deputy Sheriffs Hanse 216 Posted July 1, 2015 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted July 1, 2015 Hi, this is the normal way to descend from CRZ LVL. Start the DESCENT PREPARATION CL (maybe manually from the MCDU2). When finished enter your descent to altitude of 18000 feet into the FCU and push the ALT knob.......
