a910236 0 Posted May 28, 2015 Share Posted May 28, 2015 Hi, for some reason in Oslo using mega airports addon all buildings etc seem to be underground, or that FSX default airport ground and runways appear for some reason, when im in the plane and outside view, I can see for some reason the default taxiways and ground and runways of FSX instead of the ones from the addon, but when I go into map view I can see the taxiways and ground of the addon. Sorry for bad english, is there way to fix this? Install it as Adminsitrator: right click on the setup file and choose "Run as Administrator" 4. If you still got problems check that none of the other scenneries (Finnish..., EFOU) cause a problem. a910236 0 Posted May 31, 2015 Author Share Posted May 31, 2015 Still after reinstalling, disabling all other sceneries, it looks the same.. I dont get it, all other scenaries seem to work just fine. It's if im zoomed enough far away from ground, like in map view, it looks like it should, but when close it has all default ground, taxiways and runways from the default FSX scenery. FSX, regular version (not steam), SP2, no acceleration, and I dont even know what a mesh addon really is, so I guess I don't have. All other sceneries work fine. I still havent been able to solve the problem, happens even after reinstalling Windows (not because of this, other reasons) and clean reinstall of FSX and it still happens, I dont get it. List all scenery addons you have installed. http://i.gyazo.com/5707e85050be878e05724dc6e5f96ac0.png Here should pretty much be all I have, bit changed from the last time,(installed all I had to this new install, the last time all wasnt installed yet) and it doesnt matter do I have others enabled or no, the same problem still occurs. FSX default textures and taxiways and ground, runways etc. are visible when close enough the airport, and when enough far away with map view for example zooming out you see the addon airport textures and runways etc. So the list is pretty much this: AES Basepack Mega Airport Oslo SG Gran Canaria Nice Cote d'Azur FISD EFOU FISD Finnish Photosceneries Mega Airport helsinki Mega Airport orly Mega Airport Arlanda X None of the addons than Oslo do this, weird thing is that I have tried redownloading and many solutions and it still happens, I'm starting to think that maybe its something in FSX itself, not in the addon. EDIT: Apparently also Oslo started actually working now, textures and all are correct now and the airport looks great and correct now! What fixed it was when I was adjusting my scenery graphics settings from FSX for another airport addon (that gran canaria one from sim-giants), I tried Oslo also, and now it looks just like it should, it had something to do with my settings Bit off-topic here: With scenery settings on quite high, I get now usually somewhere around 18-25 FPS mostly in PMDG 737NGX cockpit and these Mega Airport addons on ground, CPU is an FX-8350 at stock clocks, so I'd say its enough good probably.
