Feature Request: Map of vertical profile with tropopause height

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I'd like to request a feature for upcoming PFPX updates: In most real briefing packages, there is a map of the vertical profile available with winds and the tropopause height. So on this map you can see the points where you'll cross the tropopause. There you have to expect turbulence.

It would be great if you could include such a map.

This is a great suggestion and something I have also wanted. Below is an example for those not sure what this is.

Hopefully this will get considered.

i find the terrain bit especially useful, as this can aid at a glance when flying over mountainous regions what the lowest altitude you can use in case of an emergency or flight at low altitude.

Haha yeh! Why is my PFPX map shows FL110M for the TP?

Please go to the program options / Altitudes Elevation and select Feet (f).

So is this getting considered or not????

Yes, we´ve considered to integrate this function but not at the moment.
