Best Practise Installing SP3

As with all our Service Packs it only comes in the form of a complete new install. We believe this is best as it brings all users to the same new file base and prevents loads of problems with file fragments of older versions.

Here is how we advise you to install it:

  1. Use the Control Panel applet to de-install the A318/A319 and/or A320/A321.
  2. Delete all remaining Aerosoft Airbus * folders from the FSXMainFolder\SimObjects\Airplane folder.
  3. Delete all Airbus * folders from the FSXMainFolder\Aerosoft folder.
  4. Reboot your system (seriously good idea and prevents many problems).
  5. Log in with Admin rights.
  6. Suspend AntiVirus software.
  7. Install the Bus.
  8. Reboot (to activate the fonts used in the displays)
  9. Make sure AntiVirus is running.
  10. Defragment your disk (NOT if it's an SSD).
  11. Consider doing the Step by Step again.
  12. Get beer and enjoy.

Thanks to all for their hard work. I have the A320/321 in download format and the A318/319 in box /cd format.

Do i need to download the A32x installer from my Simmarket account and download the A31x from my Aerosoft account?

Thanks

Dom

What if you purchased the download version from JUSTFLIGHT? How do I get the update?

I'm still using v1.21.

The new version is available through your downloads on the justflight site.

I downloaded both A318 and A320 today.

Could the RAAS [Locked Edition] be missing in this update?

I removed RAAS as part of the uninstall prior to installing the new Airbus in version 1.30; selected "yes" when it asked me if I would like to install RAAS and now I have no RAAS Pro [Locked Edition] installed. I do not see it in the list of programs either.

Download Link for RAAS for the Aerosoft Airbus
More info from FS2Crew

Installing RAAS manually solved the issue; the SP3 currently does not install RAAS it seems

Can also be installed from folder, RAAS setup already included in update:
