N728BS 2
Having just bought the Katana a few days ago, I've been trying for the last couple hours to get my controls set up in FSUIPC (registered) and FSX, and I'm exhausted, so I guess I'll just cut straight to the point: There's no apparent command to assign nose up trim to a button. Nose down works perfectly fine with the 4X DA20-100 L:SWITCH ELEVATOR TRIM SET commands, but I can't see any way to assign a button to Nose up trim. Any help would be appreciated! TymK 5
Hi, There's an error in the "4X_DA20-100.mcro" file (located in your FSX\Modules folder) which causes the plane to accept 0 (neutral) and 1 only. The relevant lines are: 35=L:SWITCH_ELEVATOR_TRIM=SET,1 36=L:SWITCH_ELEVATOR_TRIM=SET,0 Make a backup of the original file, then delete one of above lines and remove the parameter at the end of the other (don't worry about the numbering gap, no need to renumber the remaining items): 35=L:SWITCH_ELEVATOR_TRIM=SET Then use the parameter in FSUIPC. For nose down, set it as follows: Then for nose up, use the same settings, but make the first parameter -1 instead of 1. This setup works great for me with both quick "clicks" and bigger adjustments done by holding the button. Tym
