problems with 1.20.1

Hi

After flight planning everything looks great. Compute and all goes crazy. Many waypoints disappear from the route sent to the aircraft. The sid/star and any change in fl are not shown in flight plan. I know other members have this issue and have kept their 1.19 version, which I didn't. Hope for a fix soon. thanks.

Hi

for example a flight KDTW - KMHT. After computing and validating, I get the following

All looks good.

After exporting to FSX/IVAO/AS, the route in AS A320 has only JHW. The flight plan has no SID/STAR. Also on another flight requiring Step Climb, it never included it in the flight plan. Thanks in advance.

And what is your setting in the Airbus Configurator? Could it be that you have set it to "realistic company route"? Then SID/STARS want be imported.

No sir. No changes at all in anything just the updates. Actually, I took the liberty of writing here after seeing in another forum a couple of pilots experimenting the same issues.

Is it possible to have the 1.19 available for download. I didn't keep mine. This new update is a complete mess I'm afraid. Am I alone with these issues?

You could raise a support ticket at FlightsimSoft

In respect of your installation have you tried a full clean install:

Backup the :\Users\Public\Documents\PFPX Data folder

Start PFPX and disable the license in the Options/General tab ( PFPX will close )

Uninstall PFPX through the control panel

Delete :\Users\Public\Documents\PFPX Data folder

Re-install PFPX with the full installer activating once again.

Re-install your AIRAC ( if necessary copy from your backup navdata.nav and cycle/cycle_info.txt to :\Users\Public\Documents\PFPX Data\NavData )

Restore ONLY 'REQUIRED' data in stages from your backup as required to reduce any chance of returning corrupt data

Thank you for the reply. That looks complicated as I have never had any issues till the last update. And, as it seems, other members are having similar issues which , paradoxically, comforts me that the problem is in the update itself. Thank you anyhow but I think I will try to find the 1.19 or waite till the next update. By the way, the problem seems to be in exporting files to aircrafts, IVAO/VATSIM, etc.

It's not complicated to backup some folders, deactivate the license, and do a full install and restore the backup folders. Other members probably have similar issues because they didn't do a full install. 1.19 is not coming thru the door. So I would forget that. If you want to use PFPX any time soon, I would do a full install.

I have the same issue. I planned a flight from KSFO - KATL using the new update (1.20.1) and PFPX sent me to Atlanta via Africa! I reinstalled v1.19 and all is well again. The problem lies with v1.20.1.

Thank you for popping in again, however, please please stop this. Stop asking the same silly question as if we do not know how to install an application. If there is a particular reason for which you insist on these questions, please elaborate. If you take the time to check the forums you will see that in AVSIM VATSIM IVAO ....there are pilots having issues with this update. To satisfy my curiosity of your input thus far, I have done as you have suggested, and still the issues remain.

Over a week and this is all we get, did you do a full installation. I thank you dearly for your concerns and will not bother you anymore as it seems we may be asking for the impossible.

I read my reply above, and I would like to give myself many minuses.

I should never read or write anything before having my morning café.

This is due to the fact that you make such great products, and your support team is always on top of things, and by the above reply one could easily think I do not acknowledge this.

So please, just ignore the emotions and let's find some solutions. For the meantime, I have found a coppy of V1.19 and all running smoothly again.

did you do a full installation.

Not of the current version. I am still using 1.18.2. I only install every third version. Glad you found 1.19 and it's working for you.

I would so much like to use a good and working PFPX. I am looking forward for an update. All your suggestion have been done with no results I'm afraid. One thing that bothers me is that there is no reply from the developers about any of the issues proposed by many users. There is no doubt the update is not well, from reading the different posts in this forum and other forums, but still no news at all. Are we fabricating stories? Are you aware of these issues? Do you care really, because leaving us in the cold like this is quite indicative of your status. I really hope I'm wrong because you have spoiled us here with your services. I really hope you came up with solutions, or at least give us some feedback, would be greatly appreciated.

Yes i have uninstalled and reinstalled with a registry clean but to no avail.

Unfortunately, i didn't keep my copy of the 1.19 installer. So if anyone could point me to where i could get it i would be grateful. Otherwise, no flying for me until they sort the issues out.

It might help the developer if you were to list the issues with steps on how to reproduce them.

Hi again

sorry to bother you with this, but to avoid writing in other threads " me too, same here, etc". It's obvious many customers share somewhat the same problems. I cannot trust this great product for now.

When calculating routes from KJFK - EGLL, it will switch from one NAT to another, I'm not sure if this is normal or not yet. However any restrictions or FL/speed changes are not imported in the flightplan of IVAO/VATSIM, neither are the SID/STAR. Moody when it comes to ETOPs, on the same aircraft and route, it may or may not require it. A bit confusing.

When planning NTAA-KLAX, it will take you there via west, 30000nm aprox. I've tried some manipulations with no results. I've reinstalled as advised, reinstalled older ARACS, but still the issues remain.

There has not been much said from the developers so far as I'm sure they are preoccupied for now. This will be my last post till a solution or update as I'm sure now this is a problem with the update and not my system. Best of courage in resolving this.

PS: since there are also some issues with Airbus, could it be that now that big attention is given to PPD and Steam, could have affected the FSX environment somehow from a programming point of view??

Dear developers.

Are you aware of these problems? Is it just our imagination? Is there anybody out there? Please please, I beg of you, HELP. Really do not know what to do, who to contact, what to say....you are keeping us in such a dark place I don't really understand. There is a major issue with this update that many complain, but nothing from the developers except some advised to follow instructions correctly. Really? I'm sorry if I seem upset, but put yourself in our shoes, kept out there in the cold. I promiss you I will bother you no more with this, but please, do something, this is not at all Aerosoft behaviour. I'm sorry to the readers but I'm really upset of how I'm, we, are ignored.
