fs2k4pilot 0
I've been looking at this aircraft in preparation for my first flight, and is there any kind of configuration editor that is external to FSX for selecting initial armament, fuel load, preferences, etc., a la the VRS Superbug's Aircraft Manager utility? If so, where is it?
Deputy Sheriffs Jeroen Doorman 1763 Posted March 25, 2015 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted March 25, 2015 I think there is. Try shift+1 or shift+2. As far as I know the plane spawns with that opened up
Victory103 24
Nothing specific to the F-14 externally, just verify you have your triggers set in the Tacpack Manager (TPM) and any TP generated tankers. Everything else loads when the jet loads.
fs2k4pilot 0
Right, thanks. Now It's on to reading the manuals, with special emphasis on engine restarts and spin recovery.
JR1Wingnut 1
fs2k4 not sure but it appears your new to the F-14x and may not have Tacpack yet. Its not needed to load your cat. To access the manager you have to start the sim and it should pop up automatic. If not shift 2 should do it. when you start for the first time the page you see will be controls. If you look along the bottom you will see where it reads payload. click on it and you should be looking at the page you want.
JR1Wingnut 1
Also on that first page the control tab lower right if you click or check the payload on start up it will be the first page you see.
