Deputy Sheriffs Jeroen Doorman 1763 Posted March 1, 2015 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted March 1, 2015 Laptops aren't the best for FSX, the overheat easily. It sounds like that your laptop isn't a gaming laptop, you might wanna check your temps and maybe turn down settings

Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted March 2, 2015 Aerosoft Share Posted March 2, 2015 If your CPU is running at 40% it means it is throttled down, most likely due to heat. At least one core should be way over 90%
Poe Dameron 95
You may want to consider getting a cooling pad for your laptop. Best non-flightsim purchase for my laptop I made. And it works really well! Cheers!
