pride545 6
I did use the search! That's why I posted!
Deputy Sheriffs Tom A320 4915 Posted February 23, 2015 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted February 23, 2015 There seems to be something wrong with the search feature: neither "P3D" nor "AES" brings any search results... Is it possible that some forums are excluded in the IP.board admin panel from the search?
Rafal Haczek 1612
neither "P3D" nor "AES" brings any search results Tom, I believe this is a common problem with forum search engines when you type below 4 letters (e.g. 'P3D' or 'AES'). Deputy Sheriffs Tom A320 4915 Posted February 23, 2015 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted February 23, 2015 You are right Rafal. I just checked in my IP.board forum and the default word length is 4. Would it be an idea to lower it to 3 here? That would of course extend search result lists. But in my point of view AES validates this as it is an AS product which should be found by the forum search.
