A319 Extended Throttle problem

Recommended Posts

Before I start can I say that I have dried very hard to apply all the suggestions in manual 7 for Throttle Lever setup. however I am still experiencing the following issues.

When loading an Aerosoft A319 Extended aircraft and I am looking at the engine gauges (after a Ready for Flight State is loaded) I notice that the N1 readings are both "0.000" and remain there when the throttles are advanced. This is one of my problems.

The other problem is that while using a full CH product setup (Pedals, Yoke, and Throttle Quadrant) I can still not get a smooth movement translated from the throttles to the simulator.

When I advance the CH throttles assigned to engines 1 & 2 of my airbus extended aircraft (I have my left engine assigned to throttle 2 on my CH throttle Quadrant and my right engine assigned to throttle 3 on my CH Throttle Quadrant, I also have engine 3 set to one of the levers on my CH flightsim yoke to allow steering with the tiller as per the manual suggestion.

When I advance engines 1 and 2, even just a little way forward the engines go in to what sounds like full power, but the N1 digital readouts remains at "0.000". (I have added a picture to show this). When I pull the throttle levers fully back to the idle position using my CH Throttle quadrant the power does not reduce. The only way I can get the engine power to reduce back to idle is by using the Keyboard key "F1" which by default is set to power off for all FSX aircraft.

Can you help me with these issues.

Thank you
