I use your same set up Richard and i feel your pain, but have USB not Com port but my yoke has com port . .Throttles are very very sensitive and touchy and the throttles are always one ahead of the other and very hard to maneuver so i had a guy come on Skype from Florida and showed me how a bit and showed me how to assign a key to sync both throttles.. He said when you calibrate you have to move the throttles very slowly so it can grab all the numbers cause if you move them to quickly they wont register them right and do it about 3 times. I talked a to a guy at Precision and he told me i didn't have to spring extra cash for the turbine quadrant , so i made a stick and i stick it where it goes in reverse beta and when i land i pull it out and slam them down in beta but i can't seem to get it set right . All my turbo's are the same, i just updated my Duke Real Air Turbine and same thing but they a have a real explanation of how it's the limitation of FSX and they can't do much about it..I tried setting them with FSUIPC but no luck there either. I pretty well made up my mind no more Turbines for this guy. If you want to assign a key to sync the throttles with FSUIPC i might be able to help you there- the rest well if i want more power i have to advance them ever so slowly .

Hi Louis8m,

thanks for reply,I find it difficult to calibrate even jets but have managed to get as close as i can. also i own the turboprop quadrant which to my surprise works quiet well with the majestic dash 8. I will have another go with the otter before i retire from turbo props. I thought maybe it is the way its programed thats different.o well thats flight sim !!!!. will be in touch if i get a result.

Thanks
