jojo83 10
Maybe I missed something, but it seems we can't operate the jammer in F-14X. But I think that F-14X should have it, especially with TacPack threat such as SA-2 or other player aircraft. The last aircraft of Block 110 (BuNo 161168) introduced AN/ALQ-126 antenna to the beaver tail and above and below the wing gloves. [...] The Tomcat initially entered service with the Sanders Associates ALQ-100 noise deception jammer, but this was later replaced with the Sanders AN/ALQ-126A. https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/sci.military/SlD3bxk2ZSg AN/ALQ-100 E/F/G/H-Band Track-Breaker; manufactured by Sanders; used in F-14A, A-4, A-6, A-7, RA-5C, EA-6B, F-4, F-8, F-111 http://www.designation-systems.net/usmilav/jetds/an-alq2aly.html The ALQ-126 family of jammers succeeded the earlier USN standard ALQ-100 jammers and is carried by the A-6, EA-6, A-7, F-14 and F-18. http://www.ausairpower.net/TE-RWR-ECM.html The AN/ALQ-126 "Charger Blue" is an electronic countermeasures (ECM) system manufactured by Sanders and evolved from the AN/ALQ-100. ALQ-126 protects aircraft communications generating noise jamming for potential enemy listeners. The US Navy has integrated the ALQ-126 noise deception jammer on many of its jet aircraft such as A-4 Skyhawk, A-6 Intruder, A-7 Corsair, F-14 Tomcat, F-4 Phantom, F-8 Crusader, F/A-18 Hornet and EA-6B Prowler. http://www.deagel.com/Aircraft-Protection-Systems/ANALQ-126B_a000897001.aspx There is also ALQ-
