craigy 20
Hi I previously opened a topic re the CH throttle quadrant. Ok I have had my system checked, have done a full clean install of FSX and bought the saitek throttle quadrant. I am seeing the same behaviour as before. Throttles advance to the detents and on attempting to return to idle, the throttles stop just below the CL detent. Same behaviour for both throttle quadrants. I have made sure the throttle axis is only allocated to the throttle quadrant and selected 2 throttles in the aibus config. I have calibrated the throttles with x and y axis alloated to each throttle. On some occasions when trying to calibrate, x and y axis are not offered for calibration, only the Z axis. Now I have reconnected my CH control column and the throttle works perfectly. No calibration required. Any ideas? Rgds Craig

craigy 20
Hello Mathijs I did calibrate several times but the behaviour of the saitek is the same as the CH throttle quadrant
craigy 20
Ok, during a period of sleeplessness I was thinking about the throttle issue. I remembered that I have never calibrated my CH control column and connected throttle etc and I have never had any problems with it. So I reconnected the saitek throttle quadrant, assigned the x and y axis and clicked on reset default on the calibration page. Hey presto, throttles work as they should. So all good. I noticed others have had problems with brakes. I had the same problem and just selected reset default after ensuring max sensitivity and all seems ok now. Upshot. A somewhat happy chappy right now!!!
