Skyrock 4
Hey guys, I didn't find a proper explanation to this in the documentation. First, I don't use the flight planner for the payload distribution as my average weight per pax is 79kg instead of 84kg. What I wonder is: How will I know the Center of Gravity when I load the aircraft via the CDU? The preselected value is 26, but given the example I only put 80 passengers in an a321, how will they be distributed? Will the payload distribution match the 26% which is already filled in? And if yes: will the distribution be different in case I change the CG? (I doubt it, to be honest, but who knows). Or is there any tool that can read out the CoG (atm I only remember FSPax able to do that)? Another question regarding the fuel planner: when I adjust the CoG slide for example full to the right, will this also change the payload distribution? Thanks for your help and sorry if I missed something in the manuals, but I didn't find anything.
Deputy Sheriffs Hanse 216 Posted December 16, 2014 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted December 16, 2014 Hi, sorry but the CoG calculation for the Aerosoft Airbus is done in the fuelplanner and based on 84 kg/passenger. From there the values are transferred to the LOADSHEET which can be imported using the right MCDU. So we have a closed circuit. But if you do not want to use the 84 kg/passenger you can change this value also in the right MCDU FUEL MENU. But then you cannot use the import LOADSHEET function and have to manually enter all values for pax, cargo and fuel. Using the loading function those values will be distributed to the plane. But there is no "adjusted" CoG calculation available for this scenario. If you want to use a more sophisticated tool then use PFPX and TOPCAT........ for calculation. Skyrock 4
Thank you for your reply. So, when I load the aircraft via the right MCDU and not via the planner, the payload will be randomly distributed or is there a logic behind the distribution? Deputy Sheriffs Hanse 216 Posted December 17, 2014 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted December 17, 2014 It then will will loaded the same way like if you would have used the Loadsheet...... Regards, Rolf
duartempo 2
Hi, I think what skyrock wants to know (and so do I) is how the payload is distributed within the different compartments of cargo and passengers (coach and first class), and if adjusting the CoG in the planner will alter such distribution. Regards, Bruno.

Deputy Sheriffs Hanse 216 Posted December 19, 2014 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted December 19, 2014 The Fuelplanner just calculates the values and with the LOADSHEET those values are "transferred" to FSX (if not manually entered). So the loading in both cases is the same. The distribution you can easily check yourself using the right MCDU LOAD AND FUEL menu and then checking the values loaded in the FSX / AIRCRAFT / FUEL and PAYLOAD menu.....
