masca 0
hi to all the staff, yesterday I did try to share the model with pilot rio, with a friend, but we can not, I wondered, I or tac pack, while my friend not, could this be the problem?, or what? Wrench18 2
Same issue however we both have TP and neither of us can share either of our A/C
jcagle 180
A more comprehensive shared cockpit is a patch item. Right now there are too many custom variables to make it work reliably (which is why we didn't list it as a feature). When we were testing SC in beta we had to de-activate some of the extra gauges such as the Checklists to get it to work right, but the problem was that the specific gauges was inconsistent for what needed to be de-activated with different users. It pointed a lot to performance based issues, where the longer the internet connection the bigger the problems. So once we arrive at a definite model (re:patch), then we're going to make a systems lean version that has a better compatibility.

Not sure if this is an appropriate thread to ask this question, But is it a feasible idea to make an AI RIO for the plane similar with the large airline crew packs? I am not talking about an over ambitious dude taking personal action, but it was common for the RIO to make many of the comm calls, like calling the ball, and tanker coordinates as well as call out the checklists, routine, and emergency, etc.... Someone who can set up the rear station for action and even perhaps target and such letting pilot know he can cmd launch through verbal cmds to the RIO or tell the pilot to take the shot himself as well as the RIO make possible bogey position calls like you sometime get from the towers alerting you to local AC enhancing SA? But just within what would be his potential field of view.

Especially some verbal feedback during landing (e.g., altitude and VS calls) and radar oparation (e.g. target bearing and distance calls when in STT mode) would geatly enhance the immersion factor.
