britfrog 2
I also have a problem with the patch, when i tried to install it i get a message saying that registration is succesfull then another saying that it needs heathrow extended to be installed. thinking that maybe there had been a hiccup when i first installed it i uninstalled heathrow, reinstalled it and tried the patch again but i get the same messages. any help would be appreciated

britfrog 2
hi, i did as you said and uninstalled heathrow again then spent a while looking for egll, heathrow, and aerosoft entries in the registry all i could find were other aerosoft entires , none for heathrow , so I tried to install the update in fsx on another hard drive which i use for vfr flying and ftx stuff and had exactly the same result ! registration successful but needs heathrow installed first. so as i have uninstalled heathrow on my ifr drive i will now see if a new download of the original heathrow has any different effect. any other ideas would be welcome
Aerosoft Jonas S. 466 Posted November 29, 2014 Aerosoft Share Posted November 29, 2014 Hey, i know splitted these topics. Can you check for EGLL registry entries after you have successfully installed EGLL with admin rights again? (If you cant find them, thats the reason why the patch installer thinks there is none installed.)
britfrog 2
goodafternoon, i re downloaded heathrow and installed it with the same result so just saw this last post and have found heathrow using regedit in various places moost importantly in hkey local machine under the aerosoft heading in software , there the entry says, default (value not set) article no 13077 category sceneries it also shows the correct path type of release the correct serial no , subcategory of fsx, and the correct version 1.00 so i will now try to download a different upgrade to see if that makes a difference, the only other solution is to obtain the file/s without the exe file is that possible?
