Lights

I would like to share my opinion about A320 lights.

In my personal opinion new Airbus lights are overdone a bit.

They seems to be too intense ( oversaturated ) with too big halo ( nav and beacon lights )

Also ground reflection from nav lights seems to be too big and too intense.

Apart of lights which are not the best ones, plane is beauty and pure fun to fly, congrats Aerosoft Team !

Hi Arthur,

thanks for your feedback.

The strengh of the lights will vary quite much, depending on your location on earth in the sim and the scenery in use.

Apparently FSX has a bug due to which we can not overcome this issue.

Could you load a flight on a default airport and see if you still see the lights being to strong there?

Of course turn possible mods such as ENB series off since those can change the apprearence of the lights significantly!

If you are still unsatisfied by the results show us a screenshot how the lights look like for you, so that we can see if you may look different on your system, than it does on ours.

Just checked, my SweetFX has really minor influence on saturation.

SweetFX on/off is almost same.

1. I think that nav lights are too big and over saturated in day time.

During day time they supposed to be as small dots only, not glowing balls

2. Strobe - flashing "balls" visible during day time.

3. Beacon - looking a bit like small explosion

( sorry I do not know how to attach screen shots even I made those )

To be well understood.

I know that lights and light effects belong to the eye of beholder.

I just want to say that surely talented Aerosoft team can make them better and looking closer to real ones.

Just my 5 cents...
