virtualstuff 76
Gentlemen after testing a dll FSX had unfortunately a crash After a restart i have the following problem with AES for the first time in all those years... AES is working on a AES enabeld airport (EHRD in this example) however I can't open the AES menu with CTRL + SHIFT + W So all functions including AES help and config are working except open the AES menu in FSX. Saw the following error in the VistaMare\bin directory " IS_FILEREAD FAILED from aerosoft\AES\CFG\APT_EHRD.DAT" Checking the AES\CFG directory and that one is empty.... Repair/sync doesn't solve the issue too Reinstalled the latest version but still the error exist (running as admin all stuff). Everything is working perfect in FSX and the offending DLL is removed. Any ideas how to solve this one? Cheers,

Flytampa Copenhagen installs a new version of Vistamare outside the default FSX directory so far no problem, but as soon you use the AES repair/sync function it installs another dll file (file date) and then the event occurs. Reinstall of the latest Vistamare via the Flytampa installer and then copy the files over in the Vistamare directory in FSX default directory solve the issue... My guess is that there is an conflict between the versions of Vistamare used by Tampa and Oliver.... Wise to test gentlemen because my guess is more user will soon of later have this issue.... Everything is working however got still the message? IS_FILEREAD FAILED from aerosoft\AES\CFG\APT_EKCH.DAT Cheers,

Developer OPabst 2091 Posted November 8, 2014 Developer Share Posted November 8, 2014 The message in the log is normal, because you have no custom vehicle textures for this airport. AES try to load this file, but this will not existing in this case, so this message is written in the log. Only when you have the texture, AEShelp will generate this DAT files for the airports.
