Roelio 159
Hi, I have a problem with the NE California. I run a i7 4770k @4.2Ghz and a Nvidia GTX780. With FSDT LAX and Megascenery X California I have no problem running 40+ fps, but when I add NE (Base 0 and 3) it drops to a crazy 10fps. Am I doing something wrong here or is it just that heavy on the frames around the cities?
Chris Bell 144
although NE will get heavier around the city's core or where the grid is dense but these numbers makes no sense; i get higher FPS on my Lenovo Yoga 13 with i5 (notebook) can you shade some more light on the conditions your under (other than hardware) what are you flying with? Roelio 159
It doesn't really matter what aircraft I fly, it keeps happening. I fly the NGX mostly but even then I get a steady (locked) 30fps with the FSDT LAX scenery and MegaScenery Earth California. But as soon as I enable NE in the scenery library the FPS drop to 10-15, even at daytime. Is it maybe something in my fsx.cfg or Nvidia Inspector that might cause this? Chris Bell 144
Hi Roelio,i cannot identify at this particular point what is influencing the scenery you’re runningdid you read our manual and recommendation section?which version are you on currently with NECA?The aircraft info is relevant to make up the picture for me; in order to assist you further,Remember; we are bound to a memory limitation; if a heavy aircraft is used with extended scenery loaded prior to NE existence;there is only so much you can top off the current FSX platform.we only have 3.6 usable GB's in best case scenario,if the majority of this pool is already consumed or utilized to the maxadding NE on top without making proper arrangement will definitely result in an unpleasant ridegenerally speaking the platform you’re on; should provide you with a much much nicer experience with NE loadedadvance cfg setting are usually taken with complex scenery and advance GPU; have you made any changes? Roelio 159
I read the manual and I did everything that was in it. I'm running a high end PC, but even with less complicated aircraft than the NGX, like the default 737 the performance is still poor. I'm not sure which version I'm running at the moment, because I just left for a holiday and I won't be back until the 14th of November. But thanks for the help and I'll give you more details when I come back!
Chris Bell 144
Thanks Roelioill be here waiting on your safe returncheck your Aerosoft manager, you should see a v1.1 for almost all NE regions(the few that are showing v1 are new regions; NECA has been updated to v1.1)i'll also be sending you a our advance user manual; be on the look for that as wellhave a safe trip
