ScottecLEMD 14
After landing my BA A320 IAE at EGPF, I started the APU on taxiing to my assigned gate, 19. After performing an engine shutdown on stand, I went to exterior view mode to pan around the aircarft to make sure that my wheel chocks etc were in place. I noticed that the engines were still sounding as if they were above idle power (loud fan noise at front then the jet efflux noise as you panned towards the rear). Back in the interior cockpit view I checked that the engines were indeed shutdown, throttles at idle. I did not notice any engine running noise in this view, only in the exterior. I have not tried this with the A318/319 yet. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Ken
ScottecLEMD 14
And it just happened again tonight, not just with the engine sounds but also with the wheels spray effects due to the rain at EGPF. My A319 CFM is now shutdown on stand, everything off but still the engines from the exterior view sound like they are in climb mode and also there is a wet weather spray effect coming from under the fuselage, Next time I will post screenshot.
