A319 Graphics Problem

Dear Sir(s),

I bought the A319 very recently, and I have already installed the latest Hotfix but I'm having some problems with the graphics. I must say that the A320 version works perfectly.

What happens is the following. When I am preparing the flight, I need to minimize the simulator to Login to my Virtual Airline . When I maxamize the window the screen goes black or graphics are in the state that we can see in the pictures " Missing parts of the cockpit or when Outside there some parts missing on the Airplane."

As I said I tested the A320 version and it works perfectly.

Could my Graphics Card configuration be the problem?

Below are the specs of my PC:

CPU: AMD FX 8350 Eight Core Processor

RAM: 8 GB Gskill

GPU: GeForce 660 2GB DDR5 OC (Updated Drivers)

Software;

Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit

Flight simulator X with acceleration pack.

I would appreciate some help.

Regards

Did you do any tweaks to the FSX.cfg except the high mem tweak? This could very well be caused by aggressive texture handling. Makes it faster but far more likely to cause problems.

Dear Mathijs, tank ou for the reply.

No Sir I have not made any changes on the FSX.cfg file, it is still the original. I will try to perform some changes on my Graphics Card configuration to see if it will work.

If there is any ideas I can test please fell free to tell me.

Ohhhh if we hear 'graphics card configuration' we are always highly cautious. Anything done there can have dire consequences and I never understood why anybody does that.

Why not try it with the latest driver and no settings? In all our tests we never found that problematic. See every tweak that makes FSX faster can only work by cutting corners. MS was not crazy when they made FSX (okay they did forget the high mem tweak) and every tweak that does anything good has negative side effects. And many just have side effects. The same goes for configurations of the graphics card basically.

You do need to insert the high mem tweak though.

The only other reason can be the fact some of the SP2 files are not correctly installed.

Dear Mathijs,

I have installed the newest hotfix and added the Highmemfix once again. For now it seems to be solved, I will be posting more updates about this situation if required.
