inbetween 13 Posted September 24, 2014 Share Posted September 24, 2014 Hi all, I personally like landing the Airbus using popup gauges with no VC visible in 2D panel mode as was possible with the 320 (I land using gauges setup similar to a mini panel when you press W key). Out of interest, has anyone attempted to tweak the new ECAM as a popup whilst in 2D panel mode. The PFD works fine as before with the 320 and using the same method I simply changed the gauge being loaded to the new ECAM gauge (old method described here http://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/65608-how-to-set-up-a-system-with-4-monitors-wits-airbus-x-extended/). My problem is I am unable to use the ECAM as it loads, starts working and then the sim freezes and CTD occurs (NTDLL.DLL error). I can prevent the CTD obviously by simply disabling the gauge00 in the [window] section so it is definitely something I am doing wrong or maybe the gauge just simply cannot be used in this fashion as I believe it uses a different rendering method.
