paulxyouxdunce 10
How do you set up Navigraph to work with the A318/319 instead of NavDataPro and do we use the current Aerosoft Airbus Extended Airac? I used the Airbus X Configurator and changed it but it just gives me an error about the Navigation file not being found. Any help on figuring this out? xgunther 0
I also am experiencing this issue. Gives an error when selecting the aircraft from the FSX splash screen.
paulxyouxdunce 10
I figured it out, you have to copy the aerosoft extended navigraph folder to the Airbus_Fallback folder.
Deputy Sheriffs mopperle 4162 Posted September 23, 2014 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted September 23, 2014 If you would have read the documenation (Vol1), you would have realized that there is a much easier way.
robb_speed 6
Where is this easier way found in Vol1? I only see it mentions using the interface to select NavDataPro or Navigraph. The 318/319 installs NDP into Airbus Fallback. NG installs into Airbus Extended. I also had the same error before copying NG to Airbus Fallback. robb_speed 6
Just a follow up. I see you can edit the NavData.ini and point to where ever NDP or NG is installed. I couldn't find this info in Vol1. Please correct me if my eyes are getting old. Thanks again, Rob
Jead 34
Hi same here. I could only find as explained above in VOL1. I am a bit puzzled as to the best answer having a negative feedback above. Any technical reason for that? Thanks. Jead
Deputy Sheriffs Tom A320 4915 Posted September 23, 2014 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted September 23, 2014 I don't have the manuals currently here, but the NavData.INI file is what you want to modify. By doing so you don't need to copy files every time you do an AIRAC update and Navigraph haven't updated their installer to recognizde the new folder structure yet. Deputy Sheriffs Tom A320 4915 Posted September 23, 2014 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted September 23, 2014 And it definitely works. I did it this way many many times during betatest. Hm, are you sure? I tried really quite a lot while beta testing and only got satisfying results with the INI modification. But that didn't looked like a problem to me, as Navigraph still used my AXE profile to download the files into. So the configurator figures that I have the AXE installed and sets the path in the INI automatically? Even better! :-) Oh, I just remember. I started testing when the folder structure was changed and the configurator wasn't updated yet. So I couldn't use it... So Jead, ignore my previous post
Jead 34
HI Done as you mention, via configurator. However the problem is from the Navigraph installer, it does not install it in the fall-back folder. And the new configurator looks for it there. Am I correct? Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted September 23, 2014 Aerosoft Share Posted September 23, 2014 Correct Navigraph needs to update, as said I did contact them about that.
toby23 15
None of this makes any sense to me. I have selected Navigraph in the Airbus.configurator.exe I have edited the navdata.ini to reference my custom created Navigraph folder that I created at E:\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v2\aerosoft\Airbus_Fallback\Navigraph\NavDataPro\ but I still get an error after selecting the aircraft and trying to load the flight... Can anyone help get me into the cockpit...
Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted September 24, 2014 Aerosoft Share Posted September 24, 2014 Navigraph will release an update very soon, for now just use the AIRAC 1410 we delivered (no other addon came with a fully up to date navdatabase!). It's what real Airbusses use,

Deputy Sheriffs Tom A320 4915 Posted September 24, 2014 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted September 24, 2014 Just select NavDataPro in the Airbus Configurator. No need to roll back. Btw: for me the way toby23 described above worked fine with P3D and Navigraph. Sent from my SM-T805 using Tapatalk
