OOM with New NE version?

After finally getting the new update installed correctly and flying about California (FTX NorCal), every time I approach a payware airport FB KSFO or Vancouver Intl Airport and City etc...OOM!

I have tried to turn down stuff so as to not tax the VAS but it does crash every time. My computer specs are hi end. I set Base, 0 and 2 or 3. Autogen turned down to "normal" and scenery on "dense", water on low, little traffic, global weather only.

I think this update may just take it all over the top of the VAS.

Anyone else have this issue? Any suggestions Chris?

Thx,

Ken

Hi Ken

KSFO is a notorious area regardless of any addon

are you sure this issue you’re reporting is NE related

we don’t have any Canadian regions produced yet; i can’t make any logical connection between the two

if anything there should be a dramatic performance increase with the latest update

Dear Ken

the update are not a visible tweak or such

its new models and texture files for both p3d and fsx

these deliver increased performance over our previous models

if you go to base\scenery you should see our v3 models

did you carefully read through the basic manual?

Thx Chris!

Lots to tweak and many variables to play around with. I'm now using SimStarter which makes setting profiles for regions very easy and helps eliminate the unnecessary stuff. This will be a game changer for sure!

Again, the lights are incredible and I just cannot fly at night without them, so failure is not an option.

Wish Aerosoft NE would do the North East (North America) soon.

Thx Chris!

Success! Finally flying around San Fran Bay and made it into FB KSFO! No OOM or freeze ups. :)

Pretty stable FPS and smooth.

Tweaked more with SimSmart (great program) and using Base and Level 3 only. Level 0 unchecked.

Fantastic!!
