Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted August 29, 2014 Aerosoft Share Posted August 29, 2014 Before asking any questions, please read this. Q: The route is displayed wrong! A: Yes that can happen. Internally we refer to it as the Bus trying to make art. It can be caused by inconsistencies in the database (so always tell if you are using NavDataPro or Navigraph and what version) but we know it is an issue we need to continue to work on. The main problem is that the only way to correct them is to find them that's why there are more issue here then we would like to see. HOWEVER, it is well know the real Airbusses have exactly the same problem, attached you find two images showing that but we have dozens more. It's a common problem. Pilots don't really mind much as often the aircraft will fly the correct route and when it does not they simply fly the aircraft manually. Do report these issues here though, they will be fixed when we find them. Q: What pages are included the ECAM? A: All the pages that are used in normal procedures are included. Q: What AIRAC is installed? A: AIRAC 1410 is included. The database can be updated via our NavDataPro product or Navigraph. They should be roughly similar in content. Q: My weather radar and terrain do not display! A: Are you sure you activated those layers on the ND? It's the larger of the two knobs. Q: I got a navigation database error. A: That is most likely because you selected Navigraph and they have not yet adapted there installer for this aircraft. You will have to manually copy the files (in the Airbus Extended format) to the FsMainFolder\Aerosoft\Airbus_Fallback\NavDataPro location. Keep in mind that we deliver the latest 1410 AIRAC from Lufthansa Datasystems, the database that is most used in the Airbus so that's the most realistic and best you can use right now. If you later want to use a updated Navigraph dataset just install that and select Navigraph as the database!
