FSX Crash during Final Approach

Hi guys, this was my first post.

This was like the most embarrassing moment ever for me, after a sunset flight from KDTW to KBOS, I got full flaps down, landing gear down and the lights are on and suddenly the FSX freezes and then it says not responding and at last, it restarts.

I tried every solutions on every forums but it still keeps crashing. I believe that the UIAutomationCore.dll file version 6.0.5840.16386 is NOT actually the problem cuz the fsx crashes by the time I'm on final and I can't remember how many menu clicks I did during that flight. Same with the version 6.0.6001.18000. I'm using Windows 8 64bit and whenever I removed the .dll file from my FSX folder, it crashes at the Gate. But the main topic here is the crash during Final approach.

I saw this on my EventData and here it is:

There is no single event that is always the moment it crashes? Not a sound that plays?

Thank you for replying, I think this was the second or third time it crash during a manual final approach and no, there's no problem with the sounds. I believe that this is not a memory problem because this was only a 2 hour flight and it crashes at the end, while last month, I did a 5 hour flight with no crashes and error.

Still if it happens always during a special phase of the flight it must indicate something. Always the same aircraft?

I only use AXE and PMDG 747-400, and both of them crashed, and I use FSPS Fiber Accelerator.

Mmm we are always very critical about any tools like that. I tried it and it had no effect on my 100% clean (except the highmem tweak) FSX.cfg. It just seemed to increase my VAS load. Of course other people might have different results.

I would have FSUIPC show the free VAS in the top bar so you can see if you are running low.

The numbers turned down as I closed the Fiber Accelerator. Is this have a chance that can cause the sim to crash?

Update: After I took off at FlyTampa's KBOS scenery without traffic, the number turned up with FSPS Fiber set to Middle Frames Per Second. Looks like the scenery uses more VAS load, not the Fiber Accelerator. Sorry for my bad english.

Now the FSX crashed during that cruising flight from KBOS to KPHL.

Did you try to contact the developers of those products?

Thank you very much, I'm new to this, sorry for asking this question, what does this mean? I can't share it what it says because the numbers keeps changing.

Well the moment that number gets below 300.000 FSX can shut down at any moment.

Seems to me it's time to remove Fiber Accelerator and see what happens (or doesn't happen).
