Vkixs 0
Hi, Via Steam, I bought and installed Mega Airport Amsterdam. The problem found is that I could not using the ATC session. I also saw that the ATIS frequency is 108.40 which I could not filled it in to my 787's FMC. How is it possible that the ATIS frequency is so low? While after looking from the web I found another freq fo Schiphol 122.200 ATIS DEP and 132,975 (3 digits after decimal) which were not working as well. This low freq number also for LONDON GATWICK (EGKK) 113.75. Could you please help me with this ATIS frequency issue? Thanks before, Vkixs
Deputy Sheriffs mopperle 4161 Posted July 25, 2014 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted July 25, 2014 According to actual airport informations all frequencies are correct. Maybe only 108.400 is simulated within the addon. So maybe it is more an issue with your 787. And next tiime please take the time to make yourself familiar with the forum structure. your problem got nothing to do with the Airbus.
Deputy Sheriffs Herman 1591 Posted August 23, 2014 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted August 23, 2014 You didn't say what add-on aircraft your 787 is, so this is general but accurate info. Frequencies below 118.000 are in the navigation frequency band and set in your nav radios. In this case, 108.400 is also the frequency for the Schipol VORTAC. Tune it in a nav radio, then turn on the audio for that radio on your audio switch panel to hear it. Some communications radios that can tune to three decimals (i.e., 132.975) only display two digits after the decimal. In that case, if you tune 132.97 you're actually getting 132.975 or 132.92 to get 132.925.
