Flukey 40
Hi, Has anyone come across this issue whereby you go to open AESHelp from the desktop (while in Flightsim) and it has a fatal error then the exe file disappears completely from the desktop and AES folder....(sorry I should have copied the fault when this first occurred but didn't expect the exe file to just vanish from my desktop and AES folder) But thinking a quick install will assist I get the following error Even after uninstalling aes deleting all files from flightsim and trying to reinstall I still get the same issue... I can choose to ignore and AES installs to my flightsim minus the AESHelp.exe file Ive had AES for years and this is the first time Ive had such an issue of this nature I use FS9 and I only just installed (updated) to AES2.35a about a week ago... I also only use avast for my antivirus but there has never been an issue between the 2..

Flukey 40
I don't think it is the same, as if I hit Ignore during install/ reinstall it finishes the install process and allows for the AESConfig.exe to work I just cant get nor find AESHelp.exe?? As for a flightsim drive I have been running it on a partitioned D driver since I installed it and never an issue until now, weird!!
Flukey 40
Ok so funny thing this morning... I turn off my antivirus when downloading and installing windows updates and while doing this I decided to reinstall AES and hey presto it installed the AESHelp.exe.... After a restart and Antivirus back on it still works when opening the desktop icon so all seems to be operationg fine now... It was just weird as the antivirus has never blocked AES installs in the past, might try a reinstall with it on just to be sure...
