Temporary AES for Dublin X (EIDW) and BBI (EDDB)

Recommended Posts

Here you find a temporary Update for AES 2.34 to use AES at the following airports:

Aerosoft Dublin X

Aerosoft/Limesim/29Palms Berlin Brandenburg Intl.

For AES 2.34 only!

How to install:

- First install AES 2.34 if not done already, older Version are not supported by this Update

- Unzip the attached file to the AES Main Folder <FSX>\Aerosoft\AES

- If ask, overwrite existing files

- Then start AEShelp to select and/or activate both airports if needed.

attachicon.gifEIDW and EDDB for AES2-34 only.zip

This is not an offical release, not included in the Installer until the next AES release.

If there are any issues seen at this two airports, I can not fix them before the next release, so use on your own risk!

Happy Easter.

Thanks Oliver............

Now I know there really is an Easter Bunny.

All good for me with EDDB. I stumbled upon these updates for the two airports. Looking at the posts, not many people know of them? Perhaps there should be a post or a link with the description of each airport on the main Aerosoft site?

Best,

Keith

Just rename the *jetways.bgl to bck and the double jetways are gone in FS9.

I just testet it with the trial version and it realy works. But before I activate it def. could it cause problems to FS9 because the files originally are for FSX or are they identic?

No prob. I have actived EIDW for some days now, renamed the jetways file and have no malfunction jet. So, it works fine for me.

Since version 1.1 of the BER airport, AES doesn't work any more in my FSX. I don't see any jetways or docking displays. The airport is activated in AEShelp and AES has top priority in the scenery library. If I start a new flight at a EDDB gate, I can shortly see the displays flickering but they don't stay.

Same in my one.... but go to AESHelp and push Resync/Repair. It works fine then.
