Having trouble with some routes

I'm having trouble with routes at various times. I export my plans from FSbuild with the newest Naviraph data and also use the newest Navigraph version for Airbus. I then run the FSX .pln file through Convaxe to get the file needed for the Airbus MDCU. The problem I'm having is that sometimes I'll get a waypoint that will be 1,000+ miles away on some routes. I've shown an example below:

Once I plug the above flightplan in, BANTR and MOTLY waypoints are shown as over 1,000 miles away. See below.

I also found that when I go into either one of these waypoints in the MDCU and attempt to set the airway as J58 like FSBuild shows I get the error AWY/WPT Mismatch.

Can someone help me out with what I am doing wrong that could cause this?

Thanks

Seems like the imported flightplan is not using the correct coordinates for those waypoints, as in choosing the wrong ones. Have you tried to enter the flightplan in manually without importing, or reverting back to NavData Pro to test it out?

Devin,

I just looked up BANTR and according to SkyVector, BANTR is located at N36°45.87' W78°3.59', which is near the Lawrenceville VOR in Virginia (also near the Lawrenceville/Brunswick Municipal Airport).

Similarly, SkyVector says MOTLY is located at N44°45.86' W102°25.50, which is near Dupree, South Dakota.

As Mathijs says, this seems to be a problem with with the source of your route or the conversion somewhere along way.

Thanks,

- Caleb

Hello, i have the same trouble, however this time i´ve allways added or inserted my route manually. what happens is that y start on the Aircft ''turn around'' state and i start inmediatly toset up my route. after i put the origin and destination, lets say SKRG-SKBO, the airports appear in some place in nigeria, eventhough the aiport(SKRG) appears on my Navigation Display in less than a hundred meters, it appears, when i switch to ''PLAN'' on the EFIS control panel it shows it, again in some place in nigeria, please help! i cant fly no more.

here are the tree screenshots of my situation, one shows where i'm atpost-113891-0-48730700-1409354133_thumb., the other the init pagepost-113891-0-41867100-1409354137_thumb. and the last one shows that the route generated that is nowhere nearmepost-113891-0-62526200-1409354141_thumb..

make shure to see that un the first one i'm next to SKRG and in the last one it was created in some other place, again, near nigeria.

I would also discuss this with the developer of ConvAxe because the bus only reads the FP, it does not create them in this case. So the error has to be in the plan.

Hi! I've been waiting for a little long now, so can you give me a little help?

Thanks!!!
