Hi,

I have installed AirbusX 1.16 to my new P3D2.2 Installation, but both MCDUs, Radio Panels, Mode Panel etc.are not working (Display black), both PFDs and NDs are working correct?! I have installed the Airbus to Windows 8.1 as admin.

Any Help?

Thanks.

Works perfectly fine for me. Set symlinks as described in the following guide (even though the guide is for Orbx scenery, this also applies to other add-ons with a Prepar3d v1 installer such as the AXE):

http://airdailyx.blogspot.de/2013/11/a-guide-for-installing-orbx-scenery.html

Then you can install the Airbus just by selecting Prepar3d v1 (instead of FSX) in the installer. Then it should work just fine.

OK, after a new Installation I have now the following result, all Screens working except the ND. And I have noticed that the Joystick isn´t working properly: the axis aren´t work, but the Buttons are OK ?!

Is this failure related to the new P3D V2.2? Any ideas?

same problem here. Joystick and throttle calibrated and axes assigned correctly. But control surfaces move erratically (they flicker and snap back into their neutral position). Same with throttle.

It's definitely not related to Prepar3d v2.2 as I have got it running perfectly by installing it with the symlinks set as described above. No problem at all here. Even the performance is very good in P3D2. Sorry, but I have no idea what is causing the problems on your side...

You have to go to p3dv2 menu.. .controls an delete throttle assignment and re enable again. Do the same for any axis that does not work.

Also make sure hotfix 19 for the airbus is installed

You are not the first one to see this issue in P3Dv2.2 please check the "Support for P3Dv2" subforums to see if you can find any solution there. Officially we can't do support for our Airbus in P3Dv2 since we are still waiting for a finalized code from LM until we will start making our old products compatible with P3Dv2.

OK, I found the solution. You need to reinstall 2 files from the following Prepar3d v2 subdirectories:

\redist\Interface\FSX-SP1\retail\lib\SimConnect.msi

and

\redist\Interface\FSX-SP2-XPACK\retail\lib\SimConnect.msi

after the Installation, both the ND and the Joystick is working correct.
