Fuel required exceeds...

Recommended Posts

Hi to all! I'm new user this amazing add on!

I started to plan all the emirates flight because I want to fly all their routes.

I fly with PMDG 777 and with the default settings of the aircraft database when I compute flight the answer is always the same: Fuel required exceeds relaese fuel. This is impossible beacuse the last route I tried to plan is from Dubai to Nairobi and the distance between this two airport is 2823.7 NM which is about 7000 NM less then the maximum range. This response is repeated at every planning.

How can I solve it?

Tks.

Good for you! :excellenttext_s:

I found a post identical to this one. Pierre95 says it is common knowledge and that will solve it with the next relaise. Hopefully :help_s::help_s:

I have same issue. I created flight EGLL- KEWR with 100 pax, 30 mins of holding fuel and I got same message. When I pulled about 20 pax off and lowered holding fuel I got the flight plan to work.
It may actually happen in real flight when you are exceeding fuel tank capacity. Not physical tank capacity but rather the maximum tank capacity based on released ZFW. Any fuel increase beyond release value may necessitate a decrease in the planned ZFW. But in my scenario it was not a case.
I wonder what Pierre95 said :glare_s:

Hello,

This is a known problem.

Team is working on a fix.

Best Regards

Pierre

Very good.

On top of it I'am getting message "Landing weight exceeded by xxxxlbs". Even if I drop payload and fuel, change redispatch solution message does not change, still overweight by the same amount. I changed pax amount from 200 to 15 and message still states overweight situation by the same amount. Strange.
