Luke160388 29
Can't see anything in the manual. I can save an OFP to desktop as .txt file but I was wondering if it would be possible to export as a PDF so I can view on my iPad easily?
Max Reverse 344
You can, but you need a Programm like cutePDF, or freePDF installed on your PC.
Jarkko 39
You can, but you need a Programm like cutePDF, or freePDF installed on your PC. Hello! Can you try to include the wind charts in the OFP and "print" it with one of those programs? I have tried with BullZipPDF, but the wind charts become corrupted. Thanks! Luke160388 29
I just tried it with BullZip PDF works a treat thanks! As for the weather image I didn't add it to the plan, but I did notice a image tab when you sleet it to print with BullZip printer. Maybe you can adjust the values in there to get the images to appear properly?
qqwertzde 158
The OFP is in a simple text format. I simply paste it into the Notebook program and then can do whatever I want with it. Cheers, Peter
JamesClev 0
I used pdf995 and the output is just fine both for the text and images. You can then drop into the ipad and use something like iAnnotate to make your own notes on the plan as you fly. Integrated PDF export would be nice but I assume the libraries are expensive. Alec246 11
I just hope more OFP templates gets shared, based on real dispatchs!
Emi 5161
The developer of PFPX is a real pilot so you can be sure the PFPX format included already is a realistic one already I am still sure though that with the time more formats will come.
