AirbusXFan 10
Hi, My A320 CFM doesn't follow LNAV after I switched to Navigraph (1308). Previously, It was fine when I used the default NavDataPro. Here is the flight description. - Flightplan: KSJC AVE KLAX - Takeoff from KSJC, 30L and set the SID to SJC9.AVE - Landing to KLAX, 25R and set the STAR to SADDE6.AVE This issue occurred when I turned on the A/P after takeoff (approx. 500ft AGL). Usually it will turn right to follow the LNAV to MOONY. But, after I switched to Navigraph-1308, the plane just keep stright (it doesn't turn). Please try the above flight plan to reconstruct the issue. Thanks. Best Regards.
HansW 28
Hi, I could reconstruct this issue. Navigraph AIRAC 1308 Version 2. Pls. report this to the Navigraph Forum. Regards
AirbusXFan 10
Thanks for the report. BTW. Are you sure the problem is in Navigraph? Because the LNAV path is drawn correctly. It's just the plane that doesn't follow it. Regards.
HansW 28
My advice didn't mean that Navigraph Data is wrong. But because the coding of the Navdata is different between NavdataPro and Navigraph, they also should know that there is a problem
NAVData 8
Hi gents, I have tried to analyse now the example procedure and here are my results: Navigraph: SID,SJC9,30L,1 1. And it´s right, the LNAV path is correct on the ND - so something happens behind it, where I have no impact, I guess. Here a screenshot from the same data but with another program: Cheers, Richard
HansW 28
Hi Richard, thanks a lot for the deep view inside the coding of the 30L/SJC9.AVE Departure route out of San José, California. I gave it another try yesterday evening using the new AIRAC 1309. Still the same. Before takeoff the ND looks very promising. On reaching SJC 1.8 DME nothing happened as the plane continues straight ahead. Regards Hans(-Werner)
HansW 28
Update: After installing v1.15 of the Airbus X and using the actual Navigraph AIRAC 1310 the departure out of SJC is flown as expected i.e. the LNAV Route is followed after takeoff.
