Joe, that issue was indeed a fault in our systems and it was corrected this morning. As you seen your problem was solved on Sunday. I can't promise that happens every time but we do take our customers very serious. Certainly in our Flight Sim products we highly depend on returning customers, on average they have 4 to 5 of our products. It just makes good sense to take care of them.

I'd like to say thank you again for making the decision to bring animated Jetways in the recent Update for Frankfurt. This little update is definitely one of the most awaited things in flight simulator for me this year. (Others are your amazing A330 and PMDG's 748)

As far as I see the posts they are mostly posted in German and English language together. It might be that you have to open the post first (continue reading) to see the English text below.

Naive question, but does Amsterdam X come with a P3D installer?

It's not on the list of airports with P3D installers, but that doesn't mean it won't work in P3D. It's not hard to install a "non-P3D" airport into P3D, and there are several instruction sets around on how to do it. If you're sold on P3D, don't let the lack of native installer keep you from adding this detailed airport to your stable.

Hello everyone,

I think I spotted a gap in the market.

IATA: DWC ICAO: OMDW

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Al_Maktoum_International_Airport

Such a big gap that not only has no developer made a scenery for that airport, even P3D default doesn't have it. And as operations of Emirates SkyCargo and FlyDubai move to it, this will become a prominent destination. What does Mathijs think?

Well mostly in German it seems. A few post might also have an English translation but most posts seems to be in German only. A bunch of examples:

All these posts are in German only. Some posts are in German but have links to English contents (such as forum posts or links to English version of the store).
Personally I can usually understand most of the contents anyway but I would like to request that you to provide either bilingual posts or an additional all English FB page.

Hi Herman,

We will check if Amsterdam is compatible to P3D and if so there will be an installer.

Maybe some animations may not work.

Kind regards

Winfried

On one of your other threads, now closed to comment, you discussed products that will work on P3dV3.4 only and not earlier versions of P3dV3. Does this mean that the upcoming A330 and the new RJ will work only on P3dV3.4?

The reason for my question am running 3.3.5 and stayed with it for a couple of reasons....it's running very well and there were all sorts of complaints about 3.4. I got tired of spending more time tweaking the FSX and now P3d sim to get it to work properly than actual time flying....and yes this means I am not the sharpest knife in the drawer when it comes to computers so it took me more time. As to whether I will upgrade to 3.4 in order to run your latest creations I haven't decided yet especially with P3dV4 allegedly on the horizon.

I am a long time, satisfied Aerosoft customer.

I'm not the Aerosoft management (thanks to any deity I don't believe in!) but I can answer this as it's more of a technical question. In case of the CRJ, it works in all versions of P3D v3 (and most likely even in v1 and v2). But since it's impossible to test everything on each version, we (Aerosoft as well as the developers) only guarantee that it works in P3D v3.4. Besides, every customer of P3D v3 has access to the latest v3.4 anyway (yes, I heard about the OOM rumours).

Thanks for the kind reply, Hans. For me I now have P3dV3.3.5 working so nicely that I'm quite happy with it. Other than around New York City & Washington with some payware scenery I very see see an OOM anymore. My current P3d installation is now well over 300 gigs which I have installed on a M.2 drive.

All the best,

Dave

As long as you accept that we do not guarantee anything that's a valid choice, Dave.

But please do not bother management with question that support should reply to. To be perfectly honest, a technical question like this can't be replied to by people not working day in day out with the sim. And Aerosoft is way too big for our two CEO's to do so.

In this forum post dating back to February 2015, it was mentioned by Mathijs that Aerosoft is looking to provide upgrade options for owners of either Airbus package to get the other package as we did not get the bundle. More than 2 years have since passed and since Dec 2016 I have been contacting support only to get the same message time and again - that is, I have to pay full price to get the bundle which is priced less than 10€ from the individual package price.

Admittedly I should have gone with the full bundle to save trouble but I got the A320 package as a "trial" since I have not used any Aerosoft planes before, albeit having used lots of great addons before. Time and again I have been told by support staff, whom I know does not have control over this matter, to pay the full price for the A318/A319 package which I lack which is another 35€, making my "bundle" 70€ instead of 43€.

Paying another 35€ is well within my means but I do not see the justification in doing so. Can the management please advise if there will be a reasonable upgrade price for owners of either package, or we are fated to simply pay another 35€?

Hi RobertO,

This is an important task for new projects.
At present we are discussing solutions with and without AES.

I can't guarantee that we will integrate a new solution into all our old products. This may take a little bit longer.

Kind regards

Winfried

Dear Aerosoft,

I purchased one NavDataPro Cycle in march 2017. I tried to activate it on the 24.07.2017. The key was/is shown as expired for a download of the 1603 cycle. I also had started a supportticket, but the issue wasn't resolved. So I wrote an email to info@aerosoft.de on 31.07.2017. I also ask for a refund, but got nothing so far. I was told to wait for the 07.08., when the IT specialist is back at the office. I got no answer. So 8,99€ for nothing?

I was wondering how the relation/communication is between Dovetail (FSW) and Aerosoft at this moment.

I remembered that Mathijs wrote somewhere that Dovetail visit Aerosoft once with a delegation. But after that? In my opinion FSW gets some more potentional.

Just curious ...
