AES 2.24?

Hi,

please excuse me for being not patient, but I ask myself if there will be a version like AES 2.24 or anything new?

The intervals between the releases get longer and longer and besides a lack of new airports the actual AES versions still don´t include all the vehicles like the old versions.

I do understand that the AES-author is very busy. But, if new versions will take a long time to be developed, couldn´t it be possible to use "old" AES with all vehicles in combination with the airports provided in the new versions?

Yes, and the list of Airports gets longer and longer. The user wan't to have detailed and complex vehicles, so it needs time to find models and implement them.

I do understand that the AES-author is very busy. But, if new versions will take a long time to be developed, couldn´t it be possible to use "old" AES with all vehicles in combination with the airports provided in the new versions?

Thnx for the "heads up". Great news for the releasedate.

And, for the curious users, I have searched in this post http://forum.aerosof...post-only-here/ and IF (and I emphasize IF because I could be wrong or Oliver could have changed his priorities and hard work) all edited posts with the green term "AES 2.24" are right, we maybe can expect the next impressive list of supported airports:

  • Eindhoven Airport from OryxSim (special thnx to Oliver for doing this airport in my country)
  • New Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport from Imaginesim
  • Cardiff from UK2000
  • Lugano (Agno) from Fly-Logic
  • Carrasco International (Montevideo-Uruguay) from LatinVFR
  • Glasgow International from UK2000
  • Cozumel International (Cozumel-Mexico) from LatinVFR
  • Macau International from ThaiCreation
  • Philadelphia International from SunSkyJet
  • Toulouse-Blagnac (Toulouse-France) from Aerosoft
  • Sharm El Sheikh (Egypt) from Aerosoft & FSDG

PS I am sad not to see any of the DD Polish Airports (EPKT, EPRZ, EPWR, EPPO) but at the same time intoxicated with happiness to see so many other gems to come !

Da Nang VVDN, I realy was in doubt about it

Virtualcol, orientalsim, onet valley, skysoft, drzewiecki Design and Taxitogate must wait for the next AES release.

Lets open the wallet for the remain and for the necesary credit packages AES to fill the releases.

Yes, indeed, but Oliver, please stop doing airports :funny_s: . Concentrate on new vehicles and driver animations. At my wishlist at simmarket.com I added all of my favorit FS9 products and it is over 200 EUR now. I have to ask permission here at home to spend these kind of purchases or I have to work harder.

And they say that FS9 is dead? I don't believe any story about this statement.

No, fs9 is not dead....yet. I'll let my fs9 go when P3D ver. 2 is out.

Hello,

I just wanna say great list of airports for AES 2.24, I see Mr.Pabst has been quite busy since the last release. I hate to beat a dead horse as it where but thought I would ask. Has AMS Cancun or fs9/FSX been omitted due to their not sending the necessary files needed for AES? I tried reaching out to them but to no avail. Pity, it's a great recreation of that airport. Once again, sorry if I'm being annoying, but you won't know unless you ask right?

Just noticed Aerosoft will release Rome in a couple of weeks. Obviously it won't be in time for this 2.24 version of AES but I hope it won't be too long until it gets AES support once the scenery is released.

Have really been looking forward to some great Italian sceneries with AES support!

Oliver, any way Sunskyjets's FSX version of KPHL make the list prior to release? I know the FS9 version is already available.

... and we have same days left :)

... I would like to ask if it is also possible to add the remaining Polish airports to this list, mainly:

- EPKT (Katowice - Poland's third busiest airport and no jetways!) and EPRZ (Rzeszow) still from the vol.1 series

- EPWR (Wroclaw) and EPPO (Poznan) from the latest vol.3 series

The advantage for AES support is they are very small airports compared to international standards, often without any jetways even.

Actually EPLL and EPSC have very low traffic and EPZG has none (except for a prop flight to Warsaw).

I know this is not the Airport Request thread but all the mentioned have already been requested there and I only wanted to refer to the changes you have generously made on the above list.

They are on my list (and Disk), but when I will follow everything in my list, AES 2.24 is ready next year. AES 2.24 is now closed, one Airport will be done until tomorrow, then I will add that one to the list above, that's it for 2.24.
