Hello everyone!
I can see that some other people have experienced the same problem. However, I wasn't able to find the solution myself and I hope someone will help me understand how to enter the driver's mode right in the beginning of the mission. I go to Danny, we enter the rear cab, I press c but nothing happens! I try to stand just above the seat as some people had suggested - but still nothing. Any ideas how I can enter the driver's mode and finally get started with the game?
Also, I can't see the cursor. I hold Shift, but nothing happens. How am I supposed to turn the lights on, etc. when I don't have this red cursor? Not that I have already got to that damn seat, but still, I've tried to get this cursor in the Schedule mode (before starting the Briefing mission - I thought it would help me - haha) - but nothing. All the settings are default.
I understand that I'm in the minority here with this problem, because I see tons of gameplay videos on youtube, etc. and it's just driving me crazy that I can't get started, and most importantly, that I don't get what I'm doing wrong - I'm just following the instructions :( If anyone can help me out, I'll appreciate it. Maybe someone who had the same problem but was able to figure it out? Thanks in advance.

I have exactly the same problem as you describe - I installed the programme today, and the installation itself went well. However, just like you I cannot see a pointer so I cannot click on anything, and nothing happens when I press the "C" key. HELP!!!

Have you tried reassigning all the keys to there defaults in the options. Also run the game as administrator if using Vista/7.

Seems to me that you have to be in the middle of the cab before you can press "C".
Then you can press "shift > look at gauges " for the left console.
