Lufthansa369 99 Posted July 17, 2014 Share Posted July 17, 2014 Klar:) Captains- This is going to be short because I want to make sure we give you ONLY the piece of information you need most here: RELEASE PLAN FOR SP1 and 300ER We currently believe that we are on track to release the free Service Pack 1 update to the PMDG 777-200LR/F at some point late in the day (US EDT) on Friday. We can confirm that the PMDG 777-300ER will release concurrently with the SP1 update referenced in the previous sentence. SCHEDULE IS MODERATELY LIKELY TO CHANGE SLIGHTLY We are currently juggling a couple of technical issues behind the scenes that we want to resolve before we push these two items to release. This being the case, please understand that we might possibly delay the release by a few days if we decide it is necessary to do so. I recognize that this will ignite endless debate- but as usual- if we decide it is necessary, that means it probably is, and as such we will do the right thing by holding it for a few days to resolve the issues that nag at us. I should also point out that the items I am referencing above are not all in the product itself. The product itself is basically locked down now and the testing teams are flying it hard to make sure nothing bad is lurking in there that we need to know about. We are not expecting them to find anything that would significantly delay the release plan. Okay- so... To summarize for those who have already forgotten what I just wrote: "Release looks good for Friday- but we have a couple of minor items that might cause us to shift slightly... stay tuned here for more information!" Wir veröffentlich wahrscheinlich ... aber wir haben noch ein paar kleine Fehler gefunden...ein paar Tage brauchen wir vielleicht noch...wir veröffentlichen wann wir es sagen... So haben wir es schon tausendmal gelesen von RSR...wahrscheinlich hat er ein kleines Tool dafür um diese Texte zu generieren. Wenn man sich auf eines verlassen kann...dann darauf das man sich auf RSR nicht verlassen kann. Und hier jetzt exclusiv der nächste Post von RSR: "Wir sind ganze Nahe dran an der Veröffentlichung. Diesen Dienstag soll es soweit sein. Ich muß nur vorher kurz ins Krankenhaus zu einer Nachuntersuchung. You need to run the OC before you install the update so that it backs up your livery entries. Run it again after you install and it'll restore them. 2. Updates are being pushed shortly to every 777 livery in the OC - these are required to get the full benefit of the new options and features. Make sure you install all the ones it asks you to. 3. If you want to do a clean install, you can, but it is not necessary at all. Here is the procedure though if you'd like to start over totally fresh: ========= To accomplish a full removal and clean install of the PMDG 777-200LR/F, follow these steps: Uninstall the product from Control Panel\Programs & Features. Manually delete the PMDG 777-200LR and PMDG 777F folders in FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes. Manually delete the FSX\PMDG\PMDG 777X folder. Manually delete the PMDG 777-200LR and PMDG 777F folders in C:\Users\(Your Windows Username)\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX\SimObjects - You may need to enable the Windows folder option "Show hidden files and folders" to see this location. Manually delete the PMDG_777X_3.ini file in the FSX/GAUGES folder. Reinstall from your RTM installer. Install SP1. Install the 300ER if you choose to purchase it. 4. After you install SP1 - *PLEASE* read the new Introduction and Use manual. We spent a ton of time updating this and explaining the new stuff. There are SP1 and 300ER Supplements near the end of the document and all of the PMDG-written manuals now have a clickable table of contents at the start so that you can more easily find things. If you only read one thing in the manual, go to page 15 - it contains the stuff that we consider to be crucial information. Thanks everyone and we hope you enjoy the update and 300ER tomorrow!" Dann habe ich diesen "Stress" mit der Updateinstallation nicht und irgendwie fühle ich mich mit so einen "kompletten" installer einfach besser^^. Dann bekomme ich den kompletten installer "1.1". Je nach Zeitzone in der deren HQ jetzt steht (man, die sind so oft umgezogen, ich hab keine Ahnung mehr wo genau das jetzt ist ), wird das wohl so UTC-5 - UTC-7 sein, also gut und gerne 7 Stunden hinter uns. RSR hat doch wieder mal wischi-waschi formuliert; dass er denkt, also es könnte, sollte, aber doch nicht unbedingt, am freitag so weit sein. da ist gar nichts definitives drin. habt ihr das nicht gelesen oder wollt ihr das nicht sehen? wir reden hier von dem mann, der wenn er solche formulierungen wählt, nicht ein mal in den letzten zehn jahren einen termin eingehalten hat. also entspannt euch doch mal wieder! oder seit ihr wirklich so vergesslich? übrigens steht in seiner ankündigung, dass es "late in the day EDT" werden würde. also sommerzeit an der ostküste, jetzt könnt ihr selber rechnen. aber wie gesagt, länger wach bleiben und darauf warten würde ich nicht Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
