Has anyone seen this before? Not sure what files are missing. Tried a reinstall with no luck.

Hi,
Here's whats happening: the visibility of the tail section of the airplane is controlled by a variable inside the gauge, as the tail is not visible this means that there is something in the gauge that is not working correctly, here are some ideas that may help you find a solution:
- make sure you have the latest version of the gauge installed, this should be OK normally as the model and the gauge are the same version !
- you didn't change the location of the gauge or anything did you ? When you go the panel you see the cockpit with gauges, if you don't see the gauges then there's a problem with the gauge location
- make sure SimConnect is installed, and that you have the latest version (FSX SP2 or Acceleration is required), as far as I know FSX always comes with SimConnect installed, but you never know...
- another possibility is that your firewall is blocking communications to SimConnect, check your firewall and make sure that you are not blocking the 127.0.0.1 ip address because this will block SimConnect
- are you running FSX from the same account that you used to install FSX? This is very important...
Hope this helps!
Björn
